Heavy indierock with a pulse from Amsterdam.
Von Veh is an Amsterdam-based four-piece rock band making the indie rock subgenre heavy with unadulterated, unfiltered songs. Electric guitar riffs and heart-stirring lyrics pull the listener into the true dramatic story of each track.
Inspired by 90s bands like Sonic Youth and The Breeders, the band created a distinctive fusion of harsh voices, catchy melodies, powerful songs and soundscapes. Their music moves like an emotional roller coaster: love, longing, defiance, and a bright edge of danger.

Dragende kracht is de energieke frontvrouw Mariska Lie-A-Ling die op het podium lijkt te zijn geboren. Wie het uitgebrachte materiaal al heeft gehoord, weet dat de band behoorlijk dynamische en energieke rock brengt. De rest van de band vult de woorden op een dusdanige manier in, dat het ook nog eens onder de huid kruipt.
A big part of why we love this, is that Von Veh creates a building tension within the same note. The singer's voice is untamed and unfiltered. A refreshing wild in her style. Compare it how Björk will sound with The Kills.
Von Veh levert met Rubbing Makes It Worse een puike EP af, die ernaar doet verlangen om de band eens live te aanschouwen. Alleen al de hypnotiserende gitaarriffs van Openly Remember staan wat ons betreft garant voor een bruisende show.

Von Veh is zo'n goede en toffe band! Oké, geen metal maar wát een geweldige sfeer. Deze band verdient veel meer!
Hoog tijd om een EP uit te brengen. En wat voor uppercut is dit! Nu we nog eens alle tracks op een rij horen, wordt nog maar eens duidelijk wat een oerkracht er van deze groep uitgaat.
Het gieren van de gitaren, de ontzettend strakke basloop, het krachtige drummen en de overtuiging in de zang: het klopt volledig.
